Kid’s imaginations are ignited when they travel
An amazing partnership with Emirates and an award-winning writer and illustrator duo (Phillip Reeve & Sarah Mcintyre), to turn your child’s holiday story into their next book release. Launched on social media, with digital support, we asked parents to send us their kid’s holiday stories and pictures for a chance to win a family holiday to Dubai. The best entries were judged by Phillip and Sarah, who then transformed charming stories and pictures into a beautiful children’s book.
We received thousands of entries. After tough deliberation, our judges selected 4 year old, Maddison Penney's 'Monkey on a Plane' as their inspiration. Creating a printed book that brought her idea to life, and serving as the perfect flight time story for other children on our flights.

So beloved was her creation, Enrico, that Emirates had the cheeky monkey made into a 'Fly with Me' soft plush – so he could join children on their holidays.
